Guided Hike at Harvest Square

As we’re entering the later phase of summer, notice the depth of the ponds, which will most likely be starkly different than their spring levels. During this hike hosted by Land Trust of North Alabama, participants will see nearly the entire preserve with the exception of part of Senators Trail. Much of this walk is along crushed limestone paths and recently-installed boardwalks.
When: Saturday, August 31 from 9:00 – 10:00 am
Difficulty: (Easy / Around 1 hour / 1.75 miles) Harvest Square Nature Preserve has a lot of things about it that appeal to the casual hiker: Its trails are relatively easy to walk on, there’s not a lot of mileage, and – best of all – there are no hills!
