Girls in Science and Engineering Day

UAH is excited to bring back Girls in Science and Engineering Days (GSED) to the Rocket City! GSED is a day of hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities designed for girls in the 3rd and 4th grade in the morning and 5th and 6th grade in the afternoon.
The cost is $15 per participant and covers all activities and materials. Each participant will receive a T-shirt, a STEM goody bag, snacks and a water bottle. Parents will receive a STEM booklet with resources that will help to foster their child’s interest in STEM.
Schedule:
April 1: Session 1 – 8:30am to 12:15pm for 3rd-4th graders
April 1: Session 2 – 1:15pm to 5:15pm for 5th-6th graders
