Foraging Hike at Bethel Spring
Saturday, September 14 from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
(Moderate/around 2.5 hours/around 2 miles) Join Land Trust of North Alabama and forager
Casey Lanier out at Bethel Spring to seek out the edible plants and other species to be found in
the forest as summer comes to a close. The hike is moderate in difficulty due to the slope of the
preserve, but as with all of the foraging hikes, the group will make several stops to discuss
different plants and fungi.
When: Saturday, September 14 from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
Difficulty: (Moderate/around 2.5 hours/around 2 miles)
