Community Seed Swap
Fri 14th @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Free – $30
It’s that time of year again! We are excited to bring back the Community Seed Swap! Planned for Friday, Feb 14th at our favorite spot: the Church of the Nativity in downtown Huntsville.

The event promotes heritage seed and the art of seed saving. More announcements to come, stay tuned!
Doors will open at 6pm. We ask for a $0-30 donation at the door – in the spirit of community no one will be turned away. All proceeds are directly given to the Sand Mountain Seed Bank.
Bring your saved seeds to share! Take seeds home for your 2025 garden! Seed Bank reps will be on hand to teach about heirloom seeds and seed saving techniques.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome Jesse from Feral Foraging (https://feralforaging.com/about/) to give a talk on the art and importance of foraging and wild plants.
As you may know, our swaps go beyond just vegetables—offering a variety of native plants, medicinal herbs, and wildflowers. In fact, foragers and gardeners alike play a crucial role in preserving and promoting native habitats. Come learn what foraging is all about and how it ties into the broader ecosystem restoration efforts!
