Date Night Alert!

Blast off into an evening of stellar entertainment at the INTUITIVE® Planetarium’s Cocktails & Cosmos! 🚀 Forget your average night out – we’re talking immersive 8k digital dome shows that’ll transport you to the far reaches of the universe, all while you sip on out-of-this-world cocktails. 🍸✨ Whether you’re looking for the perfect date night under the stars, or a unique and engaging evening for the whole family, this is your ticket to an unforgettable experience. Our in-house designed shows are your ticket to a cosmic adventure you won’t soon forget.

This month’s shows:
April 4- Alabama Spring Skies: Navigate your way through what’s up in the spring in this live, guided tour of the night sky. Learn to find stars, constellations, planets, and other far out objects (such as nebulae and even galaxies) with imagery from telescopes like Hubble & Webb. A traditional planetarium experience with a modern kick of technology, take your newly acquired knowledge and explore the night sky from your own backyard.
April 11- Weird Stars: Stars glisten in the night as twinkling little points of light. Some are red, some are blue. Some are bright, some are two. Some are stranger than the rest, but they really do their best – though, did you know? Not all stars even glow. (Why’d we rhyme, we don’t know. But to this show, you should go.)
April 18- Earth Day: What’s the most studied body in our solar system? It’s the Earth of course! Join us as we explore our home planet and look at how we use technology to gain knowledge about daily weather, climate patterns, and even geology.
April 25- Hubble 35th Anniversary: From its lookout point in low Earth orbit, high above the city lights and bad weather, Hubble has been able to capture vivid imagery of areas in space never seen before and contribute to innumerable astronomical studies. Join us as we explore some of our favorite Hubble images and illuminate what this great observatory has taught us about our universe in the last 35 years.
