Athens Storytelling Festival

Athens Storytelling Festival is held annually in the last weekend of October amid the shops and eateries of historic Athens, AL.
Life, Legends, and Lies — from ghost stories to tear-jerkers to knee-slappers, you’ll get wrapped up in the story and magic of the very talented storytellers as they “spin the yarn” at this annual festival. Set on the historic and beautiful downtown square of Athens, festival attendees can enjoy the inviting shops and restaurants during the intermissions between storytellers. Food vendors will be on hand offering good old-fashioned festival fare that will help you drift further into nostalgia.
The Athens Storytelling Festival is a family-friendly festival offering a diverse array of Storytellers to entertain you, help you glimpse into the bygone days, or open the door of imagination.

Ticket Information
FULL WEEKEND
All day Friday and Saturday.
$70 Adult / $35 Child
SINGLE DAY TICKET
All day Friday OR Saturday. Includes 1st Session and 2nd Session. Please specify which day when you purchase your ticket.
FRIDAY ONLY $40 Adult / $25 Child
SATURDAY ONLY $40 Adult / $25 Child
HALF DAY TICKET
Available for either 1st Session OR 2nd Session, Friday OR Saturday. Please specify which day and which session when you purchase your ticket. 1st Session runs from approximately 9am–2:15pm with a break for lunch. 2nd Session is about 3:30–9:20pm with a break for supper.
FRIDAY ONLY—SESSION 1 $25 Adult / $15 Child
FRIDAY ONLY—SESSION 2 $25 Adult / $15 Child
SATURDAY ONLY—SESSION 1 $25 Adult / $15 Child
SATURDAY ONLY—SESSION 2 $25 Adult / $15 Child
*Note: Children 16 years and younger qualify for child tickets.
