Art of Sustainable Science
March 4 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Free – $17
The Art of Sustainable Science is an annual event that celebrates sustainability through a union of art and science. Students in grades K-12 are invited to create an art project or a science fair-style project that demonstrates a message of sustainability or conservation. Judges from local organizations then score the projects, and prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! It is FREE to participate, and registration is open to all public, private, and homeschool students in grades K-12. Students are welcome to work individually or in a team. Projects can be science fair-style or art-based.
Virtual projects must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, February 26, 2023, to qualify for scoring and cash prizes. In-person participants will be scored during the event at the Garden on March 4.
