A Journey into Imagimation is your ticket to exploring the enchanting evolution of animation. With 140 rare and iconic pieces, including original cels, drawings, and models, you’ll see the magic behind beloved classics and modern hits. From Winsor McCay’s 1914 trailblazer Gertie the Dinosaur to contemporary favorites like The Simpsons and Toy Story, this exhibit is a visual delight.
You’ll marvel at the creativity of legendary animators like Lotte Reiniger, George Pal, Ub Iwerks, Willis O’Brien, Chuck Jones, and of course, Walt Disney. The exhibition features beloved characters and scenes from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Mighty Mouse, Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Jetsons, Mary Poppins, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Little Mermaid, The Simpsons, The Ren and Stimpy Show, The Lion King, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Toy Story, and even memorable commercials and music videos like Paula Abdul’s Opposites Attract
