We have exciting offerings this year showing ONLY on Friday in the amphitheater. The first is a 2 hour ( back to back 1 hr shows) program from Auburn University. They will be bringing 7 Raptor Birds including the football game flying Auburn eagle! These shows will be followed by a one hour turtle show featuring the Bentley Turtle Farm’s 6 different species of turtles. As always on both days, we will have many hands-on crafts, living history encampments, arts and crafts, and concessions as well as our $1 wagon rides, canoe rides, and face-painting.
Saturday 10am-5pm is open to the general public. Thank you for supporting the Oakville Indian Mounds Education Center, it is by hosting events like this that help us take care of our park and remain a free education museum to the public.
Please mark your calendars and visit our Facebook page and our website to learn more about the festival. If you have never attended, our Facebook page has an album with over 300 photos from last year’s event. Schedules will be available upon arrival and will also be posted online the week prior to the event.
