ABOUT THE EVENT: The Turkey Trot supports the programs and services of Crisis Services of North Alabama. We provide emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence through HOPE Place, a community crisis line through HELPline, and forensic medical exams and rape crisis counseling through the Sexual Assault Response program. We are the local call center for the 2-1-1 information and referral initiative. CSNA charges no fee for our services. We are supported by the United Ways of the counties we serve, through public and private grants, individual contributions, and fundraisers like the Turkey Trot.
