Lowe Mill’s only festival just for kids has a unique theme this year. All activities are geared toward live blues music, art, gardening, and hands-on activities. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite “blue” jeans, tops, hats, blue suede shoes and dresses to the festival.
Hazel Green is a small, unincorporated town with a farm-feel and hometown friendliness. As new families begin to migrate to the area, it’s evident that the lack of a public playground poses a problem for local families. Parents drive at least 20 minutes away to keep their children happy & healthy at the playground. A trip to the playground should not become a road trip. It’s past time to build a Hazel Green Playground!
Thinking about adding a furry family member? If you have children and other pets, you might want to consider adopting from a local rescue group who has pets in foster homes. Then, it will be easier to find a pet that is accustomed to a home with children and/or other dogs and/or other cats, and hopefully less likely that you’ll get the pet home with you only to find out a couple of weeks later that the pet isn’t a good fit for your household.
