City Lights & Stars Concert Series

For the 31th season, Burritt on the Mountain is excited to welcome back its long running Summer Concert Series. The City Lights & Stars Concert Series hosts eight concerts from May through September, with musical acts from varying genres. This years lineup features a fabulous mix of local hometown favorites and regional talent joining listeners on the Isenberg Gazebo stage. Enjoy being entertained under the stars of Alabama over a breathtaking view of the City of Huntsville only Burritt can provide. A casual atmosphere encourages attendees to bring chairs, blankets and picnic food to enjoy a relaxed musical experience. Food trucks will be onsite at every concert.

Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville’s Department of Parks and Recreation will once again present the 2025 Concerts in the Park season. These concerts, held for ten weeks every Monday evening, begin June 2 and conclude August 4. The series will showcase a mix of musical genres from rock and roll, pop and top 40 to swing, country, bluegrass, Celtic and jazz. The series is free to the public; concertgoers should bring their own seating and leashed pets are welcome. Picnics are welcome, though concertgoers will have a variety of dinner choices available via local food trucks.

Join Madison Parks and Rec and Madison Arts Alliance this summer at their Sounds of Summer Concert Series in the newly renovated Home Place Park! They will kick off the summer concert series May 29 and have them monthly through the end of July. Bring your own lawn chair – food & drinks are available to purchase or bring your own.

Downtown Athens will have live music each month, food trucks, tables/chairs on the courthouse lawn, and merchants will be open late for shopping. Food trucks will be on the Washington Street side of the courthouse and the band performs from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on the Marion Street side of the courthouse. You can enjoy your favorite beverages purchased from our restaurants while you stroll around the district or while enjoying the music.
