The magic of the season is returning to EarlyWorks during their Nights of Santa event just for kids! From December 12 through December 23, families are invited to step into a holiday wonderland, right here in Huntsville! Children will get to meet Santa and enjoy an immersive holiday experience all in Downtown Huntsville.
The Nights of Santa Story
Children can enjoy a special meeting with the jolly old elf himself during Nights of Santa! No visit to Santa would be complete without meeting his North Pole elves, of course. Additional family-friendly activities adding to the whimsical fun include nightly snowfalls, making holiday crafts, a holiday themed experiment in the all-new Tinker Lab, mingling with costumed characters like the Grinch and Olaf, decorating a fresh made gingerbread cookie, mailing your letters to Santa, sock skating, and shopping in Santa’s gift shop. Kids will have plenty of room to explore and play!
A limited number of tickets for the event will be offered online and this will be a timed entry, limited capacity event to ensure the safety of all involved. Tickets will sell out fast!
“Nights of Santa got great reviews last year from the visitors who loved the new indoor concept… best of all no long lines for Santa and no rain, only snow,” commented Bart Williams, Executive Director of the EarlyWorks Museum. “Last year we sold out every night and expect to do the same this year so don’t wait to book your tickets,” concludes Williams.
Keeping the Holidays Warm & Cozy
Holding the multi-night event inside the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum will not only provide a safe environment, but will also allow visitors to enjoy all that the museum has to offer, including the special hands-on exhibit entitled Toys: The Inside Story. The exhibit will offer visitors the opportunity to learn how toys work including a look inside some favorites at the gears, cams and pulleys exhibit. Also included this year visitors can experience other activities such as the Lego River water table, holiday inspired craft making in the STEM Learning Lab, the Pirate Ship and the Video Game History room, which includes trying their hand at playing a vintage pinball machine and the arcade game version of Donkey Kong.
