Huntsville has a new music education resource and it wears overalls. Stephen King is also a big fan. The Microwave Dave Foundation works to enhance creative process for kids with a focus on music, using instruments and local musicians, and teaching song writing as well as singing.
The Whimsical Woods are a tradition at Burritt on the Mountain but this year it has a twist! This year we welcome the Whimsical WOOLY Woods! I used to be an avid knitter and we called this “yarn bombing”. It looks like the local fiberistas have been hard at work adding a colorful and “wooly” spin on a great classic.

We have a new grocery store here in Madison! Sprouts Farmers Market officially opened their doors to the public March 18th. I had the opportunity to meet up with Caitlin (an employee of Sprouts) and she was nice enough to show me around. I have to say, I was pretty impressed!
