Looking for a way to get out of the house with the kids but stay in the air conditioning and not spend a fortune? Look no further than the free and cheap movies offered by various local theaters.

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse
This is a 10-week program that provides parents and their children a safe, fun, entertainment experience this summer. Each Tuesday through Thursday, from June 6-August 8 they will show re-released classic G- and PG-rated family-friendly films. Movies start at 10 a.m. Cost is $5 for a punch card for 10 movies, or $1 per show.

Regal Hollywood 18 $1 Family Movies
For nine-weeks, Regal Cinemas will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10AM. Both movies play on both days!
Note: A portion of proceeds from the Summer Movie Express will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute. Will Rogers uses the money to fund the institute’s mission in the areas of medical research and health education. The Regal Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity established by Regal Entertainment Group, also provides monetary grants to local Boys and Girls Clubs to bring club members to the Summer Movie Express.
AMC CLASSIC Summer Movie Camp
Join AMC every Wednesday at 10 AM to see all your favorite kid-friendly films for nine weeks! Kid’s tickets are just $4 (plus tax) and includes a KidsPack of great AMC snacks, complete with a kid’s popcorn, fountain drink, and FrootiTooti fruit snacks. Offer valid at box office only at participating locations (note: AMC Valley Bend 18 is not participating this year; however, AMC CLASSIC Decatur 12 is!)

Cineplanet 15 (Madison)
Starting in June, Cineplanet 15 in Madison will show a G or PG rated movie every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM for $1 per seat. A $3 kid-size popcorn and drink combo will also be offered. Movie titles will be announced on their website and Facebook Page.
Outdoor Movie Series
Movies in the Park (Providence)
The Village of Providence will once again be hosting outdoor screenings in their own park, the large green space on Providence Main Street right next to Mellow Mushroom. Movies will be held on the second Friday of each month throughout the summer, are free and open to the public, and begin at sundown (8:15-8:30PM). Chairs and blankets encouraged, but please, support our local restaurants and businesses that make these events possible with no outside food or drink. Movie dates and selections are announced on the Village of Providence Facebook page.
Movies at Fern Bell Park
Join the South Huntsville Business Association at Fern Bell Park for FREE family movie nights presented by Google Fiber Huntsville! Activities start at 6:00pm and the movie kicks off at sundown (7:30ish)!
