All Nations Church Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat time! Come by and see the unique trunk decorations and let the children enjoy treats in a safe environment.
Bridge Street Town Center Trick or Treating
Bring all your little ghosts and goblins to Bridge Street Town Centre on Halloween. While supplies last, Halloween bags and sweet treats will be handed out to children in costume ages 10 and under at Bridge Street’s Guest Services, located near P.F. Chang’s, as well at select Bridge Street retailers and restaurants. A list of participating stores will be posted here closer to the event date. Children must be present to receive candy and must be accompanied by an adult. Please, no masks for adults!
Cullom Corner Market Trunk or Treat
Don’t miss this special SPOOKY Cullom Corner Market on October 22! Shop with dozens of local vendors and Trunk or Treat with Muscled Up Movers and their Superhero crew. Step inside their tricked out Superhero truck to find your treat and be sure to take your photo with your favorite Superhero. Come dressed up to get an extra special treat!
Decatur Parks & Recreation Trunk or Treat
This annual event provides kids a great trick or treating opportunity along with serving the community! This year the event is going back to its roots and it will be an entirely outdoor festival with lots of trunks, food vendors and tons of candy to be collected. Don’t miss the costume contest, games and prizes! Admission is 2 canned goods per person to enter the event; all canned goods go to the local CCC.
Earlyworks Halloween Bash
Put on your costumes and join Earlyworks for Halloween games, crafts, and of course safe Trick or Treating at Alabama Constitution Village. Be sure to bring your trick or treating bags and enjoy safe halloween fun for all ages. $5.00 ($4.00 for members; $8 at the door) for little ghosts and goblins, Adults are free! Pro-tip: Buy your tickets in advance to save money and avoid the line.
Emmanuel Baptist Church Indoor Trunk or Treat
Visit this indoor Trunk or Treat for kids ages birth – 6th grade! Please, no scary costumes. We also participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project and have allergy friendly candy and treats to provide for our children with food allergies. Join us for a great, fun, safe experience!
Faith Lutheran Trunk or Treat
Faith Lutheran in Madison invites the public to join them for a safe alternative to trick or treating. Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided.
First Baptist Huntsville Trunk or Treat
Visit the East parking lot of First Baptist Huntsville, where the parking lot and our trunks to community families for a fun-filled afternoon of Trunk or Treat. Hot dogs and chips will be served and great fun will be had! Dress in costume (no scary costumes, please) and invite your friends and neighbors.
Five Points Chiropractic Fall Festival
There will be Trunk-or-Treating, games, face painting, giveaways, a police officer speaking about trick or treat safety, free chair massages for parents, food, free scoliosis screenings, and lots of fun! There is no charge, but for each canned food item you bring, you will receive an entry to the giveaway drawings.
Friendship Baptist Church Trunk or Treat
Come out to this free trunk or treat event for all ages! There will be lots of candy as well as free hotdogs and drinks, a bounce house, crafts for the kids, and much more.

Hartselle Hay Day
The city of Hartselle will close historic Main Street for this fantastic evening of free family fun and festivities. Wear your costume and trick-or-treat at downtown businesses whose storefronts will be decorated for a Candy Stroll. Enjoy hay rides, inflatables, entertainment, live music, games, and more! At 8pm, the movie “Woodlawn” will be playing outdoors at Earthpark. In case of rain, the movie will be shown inside Life Church, which will also be hosting a costume contest for the kids.
Hogan YMCA Trunk or Treat
The Hogan YMCA is hosting a trunk or treat. The event will be Saturday, October 22 from 4pm-6pm. Come out in your halloween costumes and vote for our best trunk!
Huntsville Police Department South Precinct Haunted House
For the past 5 years or so, South Precinct has put together a live haunted house as one, safe option to celebrate Halloween. Last year, almost 700 people attended this fun event where kids can see officers and civilian staff in a different role than they are used to!
Hyde Homes Trunk or Treat
Come celebrate with Hyde Homes! Wear your Halloween costumes and enjoy the crisp fall air. While supplies last, there will be Halloween bags, hot dogs, and popcorn. No admission, but canned goods are appreciated and will be donated to the community.
Legacy Elementary Trunk or Treat
The Legacy Elementary PTO will be hosting a family-friendly Trunk or Treat event! Come out to the track in costume with your trick-or-treat bag to enjoy the free fun on behalf of parents, local organizations and businesses.
Mable Hill Baptist Church Fall Festival and Trunk or treat
Mable Hill Baptist is hosting a free Fall Festival followed by a Trunk or Treat. There will be food, drinks, prizes, and candy! The festivities start at 6PM with food, fun and games, followed by the trunk or treat 7:30-8PM.
Madison’s Insane Nightmare on Skate Street
Trunk or treat from 5-8PM and participate in a costume contest, games and activities, treasure in a hay stack, best decorated pumpkin contest, pie eating contest, eye ball and spoon race, balloon scramble, graveyard golf and more. Some activities inside Insanity Park will require a fee.
Madison Public Library Halloween Party
Join the party at Madison Public Library in the meeting room for a fall-themed puppet show. Then, we’ll have trick-or-treating throughout the library and more!
Monte Sano UMC Trunk or Treat
Come one, come all for a night of trunk or treating at Monte Sano UMC! Enjoy carnival games and contests for best, silliest, and scariest costumes.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Urban Affairs and New Nontraditional Programs unit will hold the first Oktoberfest on Monday, October 31 at the Alabama Agriculture and Mechanical University’s Agribition Center. Come and bring the entire family and neighborhood youth out for an evening of fun alternative Halloween activities! Admission is free and activities will include trunk or treat, a hay ride, pumpkin carving, face painting, a costume contest, food, music, games, door prizes, and much more.
Publix & Kroger (Various Locations)
Each year local Publix & Kroger stores opens its doors to children dressed in costumes Halloween night to explore each department. They can decorate cookies in the bakery, play a game of golf in the produce section or get an ice cream cone in the frozen foods section. It’s fun. It’s cute and it’s free. The store also provides a treat bag at the front. Call your local store for details.
Spooktacular Puppet Show & All Day Halloween Party
Halloween is here again, which means it’s time to trick-or-treat your library! Visit all 3 floors for some tasty treats and enjoy a scavenger hunt in Youth Services. PLUS…It’s a Halloween Spooktacular Puppet Show, featuring fun tales pulled from some of our favorite books, rhymes, and songs! Bring along the whole family to enjoy your Halloween treats and a show.
St. Mark’s Fall Festival
Calling kids of all ages! This free fall festival is the perfect opportunity to dress up in your favorite costume, trick-or-treat, play some games and enjoy free refreshments. The fun starts at 2pm. All families, neighbors, friends and guests are welcome. The festival is located on the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church campus, situated in downtown Huntsville at the corner of Franklin Street and Longwood Avenue. Come rain or shine!
Trick or Treating at Lowe Mill
Join us once again for trick-or-treating at Lowe Mill A&E! We are opening up our large, indoor facility to families the Saturday before Halloween as a fun and weather-proof alternative to outdoor trick-or-treating. Instead of tricks, we kindly ask you to bring some candy to donate to the artists and makers who will hand out the treats from their studios. So bring your little one dressed as their favorite character, monster, superhero, or whatever else the kids like these days and celebrate Halloween with our artists and makers!
Village on FRIGHTsburg
Saturday, October 29th is the 1st Annual, “Village on FRIGHTsburg’s” Trick-or-Treat Night! Stop by anytime between 5-7pm for fun, safe and easy trick-or-treating. The entire community is invited to stop by for a festive evening – enjoy dinner before or after, meet friends and family to trick-or-treat – who knows, more than candy might be given out by our friendly and generous stores and restaurants!
Willowbrook Baptist Church Fall Festival
Willowbrook’s annual Fall Festival comes complete with trunk or treat, chili, carnival-style games, inflatables and lots of fun! Free and open to the public, this event will be moved inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
