Weekend Roundup September 27-30

This week’s Roundup is BURSTING at the seams with all the best free and cheap things to do with your family – so much that we had to list not five, but six events to fit it all in! There’s something for everyone: disco balls, live music, bike rides, museums, a global fashion show, and jumping frogs. Yep, a la Mark Twain style. You can’t get any better than that, folks!

While not entirely free, we simply must mention the Safari Adventure Stage Show at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens on Saturday at 11:00AM and 1:00PM. This show is extremely popular, and is a bargain at $2 per person for members plus admission for non-members. Your little animal lovers can see a serval cat, a gibbon, a red kangaroo, a monitor lizard, an alligator along with other surprise creatures in the garden amphitheatre. Be sure to get there early for a seat!

Remember, this is just a handful of things happening this weekend. For a complete list of things to do, always check our Event Calendar. It’s also prime-time yard sale season, and you can depend on our Yard Sale Map to help you find the best weekend deals and sales.

If you’ve got an event that is open to the public and free (or really cheap) and you’d like us to add it to our calendar submit the details here.
