It’s official. Fall starts this weekend and even if our hiking trails don’t exactly match the photo above just yet, it won’t be long before they do. Now is the best time of year to enjoy outdoor activities and we’ve got plenty in our picks plus a couple indoor options just in case that’s more your style.
This weekend is also bringing two very big shows to town, neither of which is free but you can get a great deal on tickets to either one. First, Disney on Ice is finally here and my little one couldn’t be more excited. If you still don’t have a ticket, use the discount code TINKERBELL to get $6 off your ticket price. Shows start Thursday evening and run through Sunday. Then there is the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra’s Cirque de la Symphonie with two showings, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Read all about the special family pricing (50% off student and child tickets; buy one adult ticket get child ticket free on Sunday) and the show itself here.
Don’t see something that tickles your fancy? Our Calendar has a whole lot more listed than we could ever put here so check it out too. What would a beautiful weekend be without a great yard sale? Consult our handy Yard Sale Map to find the deals in your neck of the woods and submit yours if you want a ton of people looking at your wares.
Finally, don’t forget that if you have an event that is open to the public and free (or really cheap) and you’d like us to add it to our calendar submit the details here.[list type="numlist"]
