The goblins are haunting and the monsters will mash
It’s time to get ready for our first Halloween Bash!

Madison’s Youth Services Librarians have outdone themselves and are presenting a brand new, original story puppet show: “The Bravish Rabbit and the Not So Smart Raccoon”. Saturday from 8AM – Noon

Join us for Huntsville’s first Tree Planting Festival. Help plant trees and enjoy face painting, inflatables, popcorn, cotton candy and leaf learning activities. The City Arborist will give tips on planting, placement and pruning trees. Each family can take home a free Japanese Maple! Event is rain or shine.

Saturday from 10AM-2PM

Earlyworks Children’s Museum (map)

This Book Swap happens the first Saturday of every month. Dust off those books you no longer need and bring them to swap! For every two books you bring you get to pick out and take one new book home. You can also simply bring books to donate to United Way which will go to children and classrooms in need in the area. There is a wide selection of books for kids and adults.

This yearly celebration of Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead is appropriate for the whole family. Dia De Los Muertos is a traditional holiday in Mexico bringing family and friends together to celebrates the lives of passed loved ones. We will be carrying this celebration throughout the entire Lowe Mill community with a variety of activities that bring the color, flavor, and folk roots of Dia De Los Muertos to light.
