Bridge Sreet Summer Kick-Off
Thursday, 2PM-6PM : School is out now let the celebrations begin! Why not start if off at Bridge Street with lots of FREE fun? Bounce Houses • Balloon Artist • Free Balloons • Special Appearances by “Red” and “Maggie” (from Red Robin and Maggie Moos) • Pop Jets will be open • Free Carousel Rides for Buddies Members – NO RSVP required. EDITOR’S NOTE: To become a Buddy, just pick up your card at the Customer Service Kiosk, it’s completely free.

2nd Annual Rocket City Fair
Thursday-Monday: If you want to kick off your summer the old-fashioned way, what’s better than a town fair? With attractions like a petting zoo and stunt and thrill show, you’ll be entertained and if carnie food is what you’re after, there’s plenty of that too. Tickets: Adults: $7; Youth (5 – 12): $5; Kids (4 & Under): FREE ; Seniors: $5. Unlimited Rides wristband is $20 per day

Alabama Jubilee
Saturday & Sunday:Held on the Point Mallard grounds in Decatur, this Hot Air Balloon Classic is a favorite of many in the Tennessee Valley. Free Admission, Free Parking, Hot Air Balloons, Live Stage Acts, Fun & Games, Arts & Crafts and Classic Cars. What’s not to love? There is something for everyone this weekend but remember that to see the balloons, get up really early or stay late.

Tai Chi @ Hays
Saturday, 9AM-10AM: They’ve been happening every Saturday in May but if you haven’t made it yet, try to get to this one. FREE Tai Chi session at beautiful and serene Hays Nature Preserve. The class is led by Whitnye Lolley of Master Your Balance. Bring your mat or a towel and dress comfortably.

Madison Farmer’s Market Spring Fling
Saturday, 8AM-Noon: This Saturday you get all the goodness of a regular MCFM plus: Cooking Demos, Planting and landscaping tips, Product samples, Kids Activities (Face painting, sidewalk drawing, bubble chase and more).

Awesome! We moved to Madison on August 1st, last Summer, so this will be our first full Summer here
