Our Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes

turkey thanksgiving dinner

It will surprise exactly no one that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. We are actually going to get to go home for Thanksgiving for the first time in 3 years, and I am SO looking forward to my Mama and Nana’s cooking and seeing my nieces and nephew!

This technically means I will be doing zero cooking on Thanksgiving.  Not to worry though, we had a mini-Thanksgiving last weekend, and I made all of our old favorites and a couple of new recipes!  You know I had to get some photos to share with y’all and get my dressing fix.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

party pleasers. deviled eggs. brussels sprouts final

Nanny’s Easy Peasy Party Punch – This is our go-to punch recipe for any family get together. After tasting it you would never guess it has only 2 simple ingredients!

3 Pound Party Pleasers – These are one of our favorite holiday appetizers. Besides being deliciously addictive, the best thing about them is they can be made ahead and frozen, then baked from frozen the day of your party!

Bacon & Olive Deviled Eggs – We kick southern style deviled eggs up a notch with the addition of bacon & green olives. Betcha can’t eat just one…

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic & Cranberries – These are one of my favorite roasted vegetables. The balsamic glaze is incredible on these garlicky roasted brussels sprouts and the cranberries really make it feel festive!

The Creamiest Mashed Potatoes – These rich and decadent mashed potatoes have a triple threat combination of butter, cream cheese and sour cream. How could they NOT be good?

Best Ever Roasted Turkey – This turkey and gravy has only 5 ingredients and is the most deliciously moist turkey I have tried.  ‘Nuff said.

Cranberry Sauce – With hints of pineapple and orange, this Cranberry Sauce is in a league of it’s own! A huge thanks to An Affair From The Heart for sharing her mother’s special recipe with us!

Nana’s Dressing Patties – This is my most favorite Thanksgiving recipe!  It was passed down from Nana’s mother in law, and she passed it down to me. This recipe has been in the family for over 50 years, and I am so excited to share it with y’all! It is the reason why we don’t even have dinner rolls at our table on Thanksgiving – these patties are so good dipped in gravy, the dinner rolls would go to waste.

Hashbrown casserole green beans broccoli salad final

Hash-Brown Casserole – This is the very first recipe I developed, over 10 years ago. It is my most requested recipe and a family favorite. You won’t believe how easy it is!

Granny’s Southern Style Green Beans – These green beans have so much flavor and are always a hit.

The Best Broccoli Salad – This is my all time favorite holiday salad. The apple cider vinegar in the dressing is what makes it extra delicious…. and the cheese…. and bacon 😉

On the Dessert Table

Since it IS a holiday, I am sharing three sweet treats!

Glazed Double Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread – This pretty much rocks my world. It just may be my favorite sweet of all time!

Pecan Pie Cheesecake – What is not to love about this?  Pecan pie & cheesecake together in one decadent dessert.

Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Bars – With only four ingredients, this is a terrific dessert to make with the kiddos!
