Looking for a way to get out of the house with the kids but stay in the air conditioning and not spend a fortune? Look no further than the free movies offered by various local theaters. We do our best to keep this list up to date but encourage you to call the theater to verify the showing before you get there.

Huntsville Art Museum’s Classic Movies in the Park

One of Huntsville’s most beloved summer traditions, on select Friday’s throughout the summer, the Museum shows classic movies on their west patio in Big Spring Park. All movies begin at sundown, typically between 7:30 – 8:30 pm throughout the summer. Classic Movies in the Park are FREE and open to the public!

Since Classic Movies in the Park is an outdoor event, sometimes the weather is an issue. If a movie is canceled they will post that information here by 1:00 pm CST the date the movie was to be shown.
