Celebrating Hanukkah in Huntsville in 2014

Happy Hanukkah! Tonight the Festival of Lights begin. Yes, even here in North Alabama. Along with the traditional lighting of the menorah, there will be many dreidels spun, and copious amounts of latkes and doughnuts consumed (at least at our house).

If you are looking for ways to join in the celebration here are a couple of events happening in Huntsville this week. All of these are open to the public and even if your family doesn’t celebrate this holiday, it can be great fun to join others in your community who do. Plus, you’ll have the added benefit of teaching your children about a new (and fun) holiday!
