Look no further than the free and cheap summer movies in North Alabama offered by local theaters. There’s not much more classic than enjoying a family time together at the movies – both indoors and under the stars!

This is a program that provides parents and their children a safe, fun, entertainment experience this summer. Each week they will show re-released classic G- and PG-rated family-friendly film. Movies start at 9:30 AM! Cost is $1.75 per show and reservations can be made online.

If you are looking for something to do with the kids once the school year ends and summer break kicks off, AMC Theatres has you covered. Between June and August 2024, AMC Summer Movie Camp, this fan-favorite program will bring back some of the best animated movies of the past few years including MIGRATION, and the ever-popular SING musicals.

But that’s not all, as you’ll also be able to catch up with Gru and the Minions before the upcoming release of DESPICABLE ME 4, as multiple titles from the beloved franchise will be returning to the silver screen with family-friendly pricing — tickets are $3 plus tax — throughout the summer.

Join this summer for another FREE Summer Movie Series at Toyota Field! Our two dates this year will be Thursday, June 13th and Thursday, August 15th! The Pepsi Gates will open at 6 PM for each night, with screenings starting at 7 PM! Parking at Toyota Field is free. During the movie, fans will be allowed to sit on the outfield grass while enjoying their favorite flicks! Admission is free to all movie nights. No outside food or drink allowed. Blankets and towels only on the grass, please. It is highly encouraged to RSVP.
